Microsoft’s new operating system – Windows 8 brings lots of new features and changes compared to Windows 7, XP and Vista. Some of them are significant and some are not. The transition from Windows XP or Windows Vista to Windows 7 or Windows 8 is a big step for everybody. Even so, IT professionals will learn and adopt Windows Vista and Windows 7 faster than most people. But what about the other people, who are not working in the IT business? After years of working with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 might be much too different and difficult to use.
WinTuts is here to help you. The team behind this site will try to provide simple and easy to understand tutorials about Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. We will try to cover as many topics as possible, starting with the most simple things like playing music on your Windows PC. You will see the site expand continuously as we will try to include as much content as possible.
If you have any ideas or suggestions you are more than welcome to contact us. You can always send an e-mail to: webmaster at[@] WinTuts dot[.] com.
Ciprian Adrian Rusen – is the former owner and chief editor of the site. He is based in Bucharest, Romania. Computers are his passion since high school and he managed to learn a lot during the years. If you want to know more about his qualifications and professional experience, you can view his profile on LinkedIn. Additional details about him can be found on his personal blog, called the Corporate Geek.
George Grigorita – is a 24-year-old journalist with a passion for IT. He has been a very active contributor since the launch of the site. He wrote plenty of useful tutorials and he will continue to do so for as long as he can. Writing tutorials for Windows Vista for Beginners is his way of giving back to the community.
Florin Gontariu – is a 22 year old student from Romania and he is very enthusiastic about the world of Information Technology. He is a big fan of Romanian cuisine but he’s not afraid to try any other good non-Romanian dishes. Florin likes music of any kind as long as he believes it sounds good. Above all things, he enjoys a good laugh with friends and people with a sense of humor. From time to time he writes articles at WinTuts. He considers himself a beginner in certain computing topics and he tries to read, learn and experiment so that he gets better. What he learns is then shared in an article on our site. By doing this, he feels that he completes or pleases the learning circle just like karma.
Alexandru Toma – the youngest member of our team. He is a 18-year-old high-school student with a great passion for IT. Focused mainly on hardware & operating system issues, he spends some of his free time trying to help people by writing tutorials on our site.
A special thanks goes to our proofreaders: Andreea Rablou and Luminita Apostu. Andreea reviewed and corrected the mistakes in most of the articles we wrote until October 2007. Since then, Luminita took over this job. Without them both, the quality of our writing would have been much lower.
